What I’m Reading: January 2020

My TBR (to be read) pile keeps growing, but I need to finish what I’ve started reading, which has proven difficult lately. Don’t get me wrong. It’s nothing to do with the books I’m reading—per se. I think I just have a small case of reader’s burnout. Ugh. Here’s what I’m reading:

PRAY BIG by Alistair Begg

STOKER’S WILDE by Steven Hopstaken and Melissa Prusi

OPHELIA by Lisa M. Klein

REVISION AND SELF-EDITING FOR PUBLICATION by James Scott Bell

SORCERY OF THORNS by Margaret Rogerson

THE BOOK OF SIGNS by David Jeremiah

PRETTY LITTLE DEAD THINGS by Mercedes M. Yardley

DRACULA by Bram Stoker

STORY GENIUS by Lisa Cron

THE EMOTIONAL CRAFT OF FICTION by Donald Maass

WHY I BELIEVE by Chip Ingram

The farther down you get with the list, the longer I’ve been reading the book. I might give up DRACULA, as it’s really creeping me out (well done, Bram!), and PRETTY LITTLE DEAD THINGS isn’t quite my cuppa tea. Then there’s THE BOOK OF SIGNS, which sort of depressed me, but I’ll give it another go.

Here are some books I’m itching to read but need to hold off on:

THE HAND ON THE WALL by Maureen Johnson

TEN THOUSAND DOORS OF JANUARY by Alix E. Harrow

DANGEROUS ALLIANCE by Jennieke Cohen

Are you reading anything good? Let me know!

Keep your nose in a book,
Beth
