What I’m Listening to: January 2020

Right now, I’m working on the first draft of book three of The Goblets Immortal series. While I write, I’ve been listening to some pretty awesome music that I thought I should give a mention. Here, in no particular order, are the artists and the songs that I’ve been playing:

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (cover) by Gabriela Bee

Hero by Chad Kroeger

I’m So Sorry by Imagine Dragons

Toss a Coin to Your Witcher (cover) by Samuel Kim

Bring Me to Life by Evanescence

HandClap by Fitz and the Tantrums

Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage

You’re the Voice by John Farnham

The Edge of Your Sword, Ruins of Illusion, and other songs by LEAH

Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi

UnAmerican by Said the Whale

Fade by Staind

Wicked Game by Theory of a Deadman

Some of these songs (mostly by LEAH, a Canadian Celtic/metal band) get me into the world of my characters. The others get me in the mood to write and provide good background noise.

Anyone recognize most or all of the songs/groups listed here? What are your faves to work to? I’m curious and always in search of a good tune.

Keep your nose in a book,
Beth
