Wondering what to give the writer in your life for Christmas? Look no further!
Book earrings (also these ones; they’re cheaper)
You can have these earrings custom-made to bear the covers of your beloved writer’s favorite books—whether or not s/he wrote them! Last year, I bought a pair of these earrings for my sister, who isn’t a writer but loves Brandon Sanderson. I did one earring as the first Stormlight Archive book and the other as the second. My brother-in-law did books three and four. It was a smash hit!
Your reader/writer friend can lend out books without feeling that sinking sense of dread that their book will be lost forever. Well, I mean, it still could be lost. But it’s a really cool idea.
A cute hobbit-y mug to drink their hot beverage of choice from
I have one and it is DARLING! AND the picture is placed on both sides, so whether you’re drinking or watching someone else drink from the mug, you can see Merry, Pippin, Frodo, and Sam.
I personally don’t wear necklaces because I can’t stand to have anything touching my throat, but this is absolutely gorgeous. What a fun gift for a writer friend who likes jewelry.
I have something like this, and it has been fun to use in the past. Mine are currently lost….
