As of September 1, I’ve finished draft one of the first book in a duology (perhaps longer? I don’t know yet) that is NOT in the Goblets Immortal universe. I celebrated with cake and will try to remember to include a picture here sometime. Next: to rewrite/revise/edit the manuscript, write a synopsis, and submit my work to Flame Tree. Here’s hoping they’ll like it!

The last I heard, Death’s Key is still scheduled to release in April of 2023. It is written and edited by me, but it’s awaiting professional revisions.

November 6th is the multi-author book signing event that I’ll be participating in at the Avon Lake Public Library….unless COVID is really bad then. But if the county’s in the clear, I’ll be masking up and keeping my distance and going. I’m fully vaccinated (woot!)

On social media, I’ve been talking about writing under a penname for some short cozy mysteries. But I’m going to take it easy with this project. Fantasy is my #1 genre and I want to make certain I give the books I write for Flame Tree my full attention.

I have a short story coming out in Typehouse Literary Magazine. I’m not sure when, but I’ve made some adjustments to the project in compliance with what the magazine wanted. I’ll post a link when it goes live!

That’s all the news for now.

Keep your nose in a book,
