Years after the Circle disbanded, Meraude builds an army to rid the land of mortals, wizards, and anyone she cannot control. The Goblets Immortal and the throne of Inohaim Tower soon will be hers! But there is a thorn in her side and a flaw in her plan.

Aidan, a Summoner Meraude had once recruited, has turned against her. He and Slaíne need to ally with Meraude’s twins to stop the so-called mage queen. The Goblets must be brought to Inohaim Tower to be destroyed…if the four Blest can escape the wizard Hex and his House of Curses, that is.

Praise for Death’s Key:

“I have really enjoyed this series from beginning to end for a couple of reasons. First, I like narratives that are centered around quests. The story is not always quest-like, book 3 especially gets away from it, but the storyline does start that way, and it is a big attention-grabber.

Second, the magic is interesting and unique. Being based around goblets with mysterious backstories makes the whole thing very intriguing. The great thing about DEATH’S KEY is that so many secrets are revealed, the origin of the goblets being one.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the relationships of the characters and how those evolve over the course of the series. Overmyer really cares for her characters, and it shows in the way they are treated and how their relationships are allowed to blossom.

I loved DEATH’S KEY as a finale. The characters are involved a plot that requires them to use both all their resources and work together to solve the conflict. It is dramatic, suspense, emotional, and full of surprises. I had trouble putting it down, because there was always a situation where I had to know what happens next. The book really shows off how the story evolved over the course of three books, and I became more and more impressed with Overmyer’s writing.

Fans of fantasy will love the magic, wizards, and mayhem. Definite rec.” – Traveling Cloak (reviewer)
