Sales: The Cold, Hard Truth

Wow, that is not a catchy headline for this blog post. Sorry, guys. I guess I’ve been a bit of a downer IRL lately. Online? I haven’t been as present, as you’ve probably noticed from my lack of posts. I really want to be positive on here, so I’m going to deviate a minute from the subject and say…

THANK YOU!

Thank you to each and every one of you who purchased and read any of my books. Without you, I would lose my sanity. It’s true, not a joke. And while I’m mentioning you, could I ask a little-big favor? If you are so inclined, please add my book to your shelf on Goodreads. You can give it a star-rating, no need for a review if you don’t like writing those. Or if you LOVE to review books and have read any of mine, it would be very kind of you to leave a review on Goodreads, Amazon, or wherever you got my books. I would be forever grateful. Truly.

Now, to the not-fun stuff. THINGS HEARD IN A GRAVEYARD will not be coming out any time soon. Why? Two reasons: It’s not ready, and book sales are really bad right now. I’m having to brainstorm very hard how to get my e-books out there. Yes, e-book marketing is a real bugaboo. But I’m not giving up.

My main deal is that I want my books to be read. I want to entertain. It’s just hard getting the right book in the right hands.

On the FUN NEWS part: Starting this Wednesday, I am going to attempt to comment on 100,000 blogs/blog posts in one year! Just for the heck of it, because everyone’s blog needs some lovin’, am I right?

Thanks for hanging with me. Readers are truly something to be grateful for, and I am ❤

Keep your nose in a book,
Beth

And, just for fun, my interpretation of Blink from Marvel’s The Gifted:
